Physical Education Grading Policy
Students will receive a report card grade based on effort, respecting and cooperating with others, participating safely, staying on task, listening, following directions, and wearing gym shoes. Evaluation of their locomotor movements, strength and endurance are done periodically throughout the year.
Conduct Grade
A conduct grade is given based on the descriptions below. Students will receive a warning first before receiving their first conduct check.
E(4)=No conduct checks
G(3)=One conduct check
S(2)=Two conduct checks
N(1)=Three conduct checks
U(0)=Four conduct checks
Assessments
Students will be graded on participation, effort, and written and/or skill tests. Students will receive a 4, 3, 2, or 1 based on the following:
